I have worked with the Navajo County Library District for five and a half years, serving as District Director for the past four. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of positions across different types of libraries, gaining more than 18 years of comprehensive library experience. My educational background includes a Library Technician certificate, an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. I am currently completing my Master’s in Library and Information Science. I am a committed lifelong learner dedicated to ongoing professional growth.
I have been an avid reader for most of my life, and I am truly passionate about the work libraries do. I am driven by a commitment to providing essential services to our communities, answering challenging questions, and solving problems. Colleagues often refer to me as the “Chaos Coordinator,” a title I proudly embrace.
My husband of 25 years fully supports my “library life,” and together we have six wonderful children and 14 treasured grandchildren. Outside of my professional responsibilities and family time, I care for four cats, one dog, and a thriving garden that keep me equally busy.
